W.A. Landreth co-founded Vaquero with Brian C. Williams in 2010 with a primary focus on corporate/national build-to-suit developments. Since starting the company, Vaquero has developed over 625 single-tenant and multi-tenant assets valued at over $1.2B. Currently, Vaquero has development projects across the US and has offices in Fort Worth, TX and Chattanooga, TN. W.A. previously was a Vice President with The PNL Companies, a real estate venture capital fund with offices in Fort Worth and Dallas, TX. While at PNL, the Fund managed a $100MM real estate portfolio. He was responsible for the redevelopment and management of the former 1.2MM SF RadioShack headquarters located in downtown Fort Worth, TX. He began his career with Crescent Real Estate Equities Company working on the Office acquisitions and dispositions team and was a project manager for a 275,000 SF office development, Howard Hughes Center. W.A. graduated from Southern Methodist University, where he was a University Scholar and received a Finance and Real Estate degree from the Cox School of Business. W.A. resides in Fort Worth, TX with his wife, Regan, and three children, Will, Sarita and Win.

Previously, Brian worked with Haddock Investments and led their build-to-suit team during his tenure, specializing in real estate investments of retail shopping centers, land and build-to-suits for large corporate tenants. Brian began his career as a professional at PM Realty group in Fort Worth. Brian was a 2010 Forty Under Forty honoree of the Fort Worth Business Press. Brian graduated from Dallas Baptist University, where he received a Business and Marketing degree. Brian resides in Fort Worth, TX with his wife, Brittney, and son, Crawford.
Emily L. Crockett serves as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Counsel to Vaquero. Prior to joining Vaquero, Emily served as General Counsel to Haddock Investments, where she managed various real estate investments and business ventures, specializing in the negotiation and drafting of contracts for business acquisitions, commercial and private lending arrangements, and various other business agreements, including general corporate governance matters. Emily worked on numerous real estate acquisitions and dispositions while at Haddock Investments, ranging from single-tenant locations to large tract development. Emily graduated 1st out of 123 future attorneys in her class from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in and graduated magna cum laude from Austin College, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, History, and Exercise and Sport Science. Emily is married and resides in Fort Worth, TX.
Shane Estes serves as Chief Investment Officer for Vaquero. Shane is primarily responsible for financing, disposition, and overall portfolio strategy for the firm. Since joining Vaquero in 2013, Shane has underwritten and sourced capital for real estate projects totaling more than $850MM. Shane received Bachelors of Business Administration degrees in Finance and General Business with a minor in Economics from Texas Tech University. He is also a graduate of the Masters of Business Administration program at Texas Christian University, which he attended on a full academic scholarship. During his time as an MBA student at the Neeley School of Business, Shane served as the Vice President of both the Healthcare and Capital Markets organizations. Shane and his wife, Emily, reside in Fort Worth, TX.
Janet R. Courchesne serves as Controller to Vaquero. Prior to joining Vaquero, Janet worked for Bank of America in the Fiduciary Tax Services department where her primary responsibilities were preparation and review of fiduciary tax returns. Previously, Janet worked as an Accountant with Trademark Properties Company, a full-service real estate firm in Fort Worth. Additionally, Janet was Vice President of Haddock Investments where she was responsible for all accounting of various business, real estate and personal entities, and also served for several years as personal accountant to the President of Crescent Real Estate Equities Company. Janet began her career at First National Bank of Fort Worth as a Trust Tax Accountant. Janet graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Janet is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas. Janet is married and resides in Watauga, TX.
